Beef Short ribs with Smoked Guajillo and Pasilla Pepper Sauce

(4 Serves)


Beef Short ribs – 3 Lbs.

Oregano Spices Smoked Sea Salt – 1 tablespoon

Black Pepper – 1 teaspoon

Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 3 tablespoons

Garlic – 6 cloves

Tomato Puree – 2 tablespoon

Oregano Spices Smoked Guajillo Pepper – 1/2 tablespoon

Oregano Spices Smoked Pasilla Pepper – 1/2 tablespoon

Red Wine (your favorite) – 1 cup 

Beef Stock – 1 cup 

Herb (your favorite): cilantro, parsley or mint


  • Cut Beef Short ribs in pieces cross the bones
  • Add Oregano Spices Smoked Sea Salt & Black Pepper over the short ribs
  • Put a Roasting Tray Pan over the burner and heat it
  • Add Olive Oil
  • Sealed the short ribs
  • Add Garlic an roasted (light brown)
  • Add Tomato Puree, Oregano Spices Smoked Peppers and cook for one minute
  • Add Red Wine and cook for 5 minutes
  • Add Beef Stock
  • Put the Roasting Tray covered with Aluminum Foil in the oven (375 F) for 1 hour
  • Strain all the juice/sauce from the tray
  • For serve, add your favorite chopped herb
